| Welcome to the Rosalie House Victorian Tour Home, in historic Eureka Springs, Arkansas. This magnificent privately owned residence has been restored to reflect the splendor of family life in the 1890's. J.W. Hill, an orphan from Illinois, came to Eureka Springs in 1879 and soon started the Crescent Livery and Eureka Transfer Company, supplying horses for Hotels and Railroad. A few years later he was described as having "the largest capital investment of any single individual in the city".
