| Description |
| No, we don't have any "live" frogs, but our museum does contain the efforts of over 60 years of frog collecting. You'll see frogs of every description and made of every conceivable material. There are porcelain frogs, frogs of majolica, jade, wood and cork, carved of coconut and even cedar roots. Others are woven of plant fibers and even metal wire. Although every piece of the collection features a frog, they are all very different. The secret is in the eyes of the little creatures. Expressions vary from sad and lonely to mischievous to exultant. Some are what collectors call "common frogs" and there are many that are exquisite pieces of art. As one collector put it, "You're really in an art gallery. Every one of these frogs is someone's creation."Since the museum's opening, many collectors have visited, along with countless people who were simply fascinated at seeing this happy gathering. Collecting can be fun, educational and a happy time, shared by family and friends. So come, enjoy the Fantastic World Of Frogdom.
