| The Historic District of Eureka Springs has a late 1800's gem tucked away on a hillside. The Candlestick Cottage was built over 115 years ago as a merchant home and is located on the Douglas/Steele Street Loop, which was the original entrance to Eureka Springs. The impeccably restored houses sit on a quiet street, yet only a one-block stroll from eclectic downtown shops, restaurants, galleries and museums. Each of our Victorian suites has a private entrance and a whirlpool bath for two with scented candles for the ultimate in relaxation. Each suite has a refrigerator and separate sitting room. Meander your way through the beautiful gardens of Candlestick Cottage or hop on the trolley to tour Eureka Springs' Historic District and other attractions.Your hosts, Denise and Rita, are happy to make reservations for dinner, stage productions or the famous "Great Passion Play." When your day is done you may retire to your suite, sip a glass of wine and unwind on the porches and decks that accompany each suite or enjoy a movie in your suite. Hearty breakfasts are the norm at Candlestick Cottage Inn and are served on the treetop porch, weather permitting, or in the adjoining dining room.
