| Years ago, when gold was over $800.00 an ounce, our company owner, Craig Ashby, was prospecting in the Bradshaw Mountains of central Arizona. With a horse named Roany Reagan, a dog-named Nugget, and three pack mules, Molly, Jack and J.A., Craig traveled into Phoenix to find a real job. Five years later, he started Wayward Wind Tours, Inc. Knowing that this cottage industry would grow with the city, Wayward Wind Tours has always done things right. That means legal. Wayward Wind was the first company to successfully acquire State Trust Land permits. In addition, we have more legal trails than anyone else. We have a staff of over fifteen employees including a full time office staff and a full time mechanic to keep our large fleet in excellent operating condition.
