| After early retirement from jobs back East, we found our dreams here in the old West. Our rammed earth house is what we waited for while shoveling snow all those winters. Mowing the grass once or twice a year is a joy rather than once or twice a week, as is basking in the sunshine rather than looking at clouds and raindrops. A beautiful setting in Apache country between Texas Canyon and the Dragoon Mountains is the location for this rammed earth house and separate guesthouse.
