| Sound Eco Adventures is owned and operated by longtime Alaskan marine biologist Gerry Sanger. We specialize in whale watching and interpretive wildlife and glacier tours aboard our custom-built, 30-foot, 6-passenger boat. 2005 is our 16th season, and we are featured in the popular travel guide Frommer's Alaska. Capt. Gerry's expertise and our boat's unique capabilities are value-added benefits not available on other tour boats, large or small. We practice the professional ecotourism guidelines of the Alaska Wilderness Recreation and Tourism Association.All of our tours travel amid spectacular, awe-inspiring scenery and you will see a variety of wildlife on most tours. If you are especially interested in wildlife, however, we suggest booking one of our wildlife tours. Our longer day tours include a beach stop. Between Capt. Gerry's long experience in the Sound and our boat's unique capabilities you are assured of a memorable adventure.
