| Welcome to Tenakee Springs on Chichagof Island in Southeast Alaska. This beautiful emerald island, located between Juneau and Sitka, Alaska, is the home of Fishing Bear Charters.We are accessible from either city via the Alaska State Ferry or floatplane. Once in Tenakee, you will be staying with us aboard the Seatonic II, a restored 42' motor yacht. Our vessel is fully insured and comes with all required safety equipment and electronics to ensure your safety and comfort. Fishing Bear Charters is owned by Captain Tuck Harry and his wife Lisa Speno. Captain Harry has more than 30 years experience as a commercial fisherman and private guide in western Washington, Oregon and Alaska.He landed his first salmon on sport fishing gear as a five year old living in Auke Bay, Alaska. He has been featured in "Field and Stream", "National Geographic" and books by Patrick McManus.Captain Harry enjoys sharing his knowledge of Alaska fishing with new clients and friends.
