| Named after the majestic mountain right next door to us, our business is conveniently located midway between Anchorage and Girdwood and offers an affordable way to see all Alaska's Turnagain Arm can offer. For outdoor enthusiasts, Bird Creek flows approximately 1,000 yards to the north of us. From late July to early September visitors come from all round to enjoy fishing for Silver and Red Salmon.The popular Bird Ridge hiking trail takes you to the mountain top and affords a spectacular view of the inlet and surrounding area. For those looking for a less strenuous hike or biking paved bike trails are located directly across the highway from our location. >From our central location along the Seward Highway (listed as a National Scenic Highway) you can; Go Bird Watching on the boardwalk at Potter's Marsh; Watch for whales at Beluga Point; View Dall Sheep enjoying the sunshine on a steep rock wall.
