| Pope-Locke Hunting Preserve is located in Dallas County, Alabama, approximately 60 miles west of Montgomery in prime white-tailed deer country. Our property is set on the backwaters of the Alabama River, protected on three sides by the river. We offer a relaxed setting in our new lodge for groups of 6 to 10 hunters. All hunts include great meals, experienced guides and friendly service.We have a year-round supplemental feeding program to promote a healthy deer herd. Our feeding program benefits other wildlife as well. Hunters at Pope-Locke report seeing deer, turkey, duck, geese, and a host of other game and non-game animals. Our preserve is a nature lovers paradise!The Black Belt Agriculture region of Central Alabama has been producing trophy whitetail bucks, Eastern Wild Turkeys, and other game for generations.
